It's very striking. I'm not a fan of the font on the website, it's difficult to read. For a logo company, I wouldn't expect you to use a parchment font and I'd expect some sort of logo on the website.

Also, not a fan of the navigation. I do like the leaves on the bottom left, and the illustration of the person. I don't like the swirly bit on the top left of the site.

I like the colour scheme (the black with the lime green-ish!?!), the circles/arrow combo at the top left looks totally out of place though, you have a very earthy/natural theme for the rest of the design, so that stands out like a sore thumb!! the red text on the yellow/green background is not great, the font for the navigation i would also change, i personally think its one of those fonts that rarely looks good on anything (personal opinion mind!!) I also think the banners that hang down i.e; 'logo designing' , 'logo repairing' etc....... look a little lost with the shading over the top, your eyes are not initially drawn to them!!

Overall i really like the design of the site, and with a few tweaks it could look tip-top!! Good luck!!

Looks like a bunch of current trends thrown together with no concept or process behind it. Swirly stuff? Check. Circly things? Check. Grass at the bottom? Check. Looks like flourescent vomit? Check.

I would expect a logo company to have a good logo before they even start with designing a site.

Yes you are right, red text on yellow background is not looking good.
I will change font style soon and will remove the black transparency from the big four buttons.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Constructive ;)

I thought so. Although you do actually have to apply some thought and read between the lines in order to get the constructive bits. I'm glad you had the mental faculties to do so.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have replaced that black shade on buttons with white.
Any other suggestion.

The buttons look much better, but if I were you I'd still remove the unnecessary images, as they're using up precious bandwith, so get rid of at least the swirly bits, because they really do look like they've been downloaded from DeviantArt.

It just seems way too busy, like a bit of a mess, and once again, work on the "Logo Guru" text, anything but Parchment script :(, it's painful.

& btw, there is a 1px gap on your site just below the menu, in line with the arrow.

As per your suggestion, I removed the swirly bits.

Its looking clean now. Thanks.

Design wise - It is a little bit different.

But before you worry about how it looks, I would seriously check your code first.

Hello, there are still a few things that I'd like to point out.

  • The alignment doesn't look right, as though the menu should be central along with the text, A way of fixing this could be to get rid of the "Logo Guru" that you have at the moment, allowing the menu to be central, and placing it in the dark header, where the menu currently is.
  • There are a few graphical errors on the site, probably due to the way that the site has been developed (using tables is a no go in the design world, look into using DIVS & CSS instead), look at the attachment for the graphic errors. You may think I'm being pedantic, but for someone to take you seriously, you need to be a perfectionist.
  • I'd go even more clean, and remove the plants too. Not the ones long the bottom acting as a footer, but the big bunch in the bottom left, not reallydoing anything.

Keep the colours the same though, I'm colour blind and it's nice to be able to see the site properly.

I have to agree that I somewhat expected the area of specialization to be in logos, but it turned up short because of the current design.

Wow. Guru, huh? Great font on your 'logo'.

Colours resemble vomit, what IS this website?

No Portfolio (not surprised), 'Logo Designing' ?

I think you should stop kidding yourself.

Alright mate thats abit harsh... this guys simply asking for constructive criticism!!

Guru, your main navigation is solid, all the comments here are very productive and if you just clean up your design around your '4 strip' navigation this would be a v.cool, website...

I don't think it's too harsh, I'd have gone easier if this guy wasn't selling 'Logo Designing' under the name 'Guru'.

I like it - it's obvious you've made a few changes to it so far, I like the colour scheme and the navigation - I'd get rid of the flower image and the illustration of the girl though - they seem a little unesscessary, and clutter the page, not to mention the quality of the girl image isn't great and detracts from the page. The background colour of the flower also does not match the page background colour.

The footer image - parts along the top have been chopped off (perhaps the illustration is overlapping).
