Hi WDF
I have redesigned the sub page, changing the side navagation to a grey rather than the previous bright green which alot of people thought was hard to read with the white text.
So please tell me what you think of the sub page, espiecally the side nav.

index page

New sub page with grey nav
Sub page 1

Previous sub page with green nav.
sub page 2

Thank you

Not a massive fan of the navigation at all, it looks too split up, the subnavigation is okay though.

Once again, you can tell it's been done in DreamWeaver though.

I think the grey navigation is better.

Is that a bad thing?

Yes it is, particularly if you want to be taken seriously by people, particularly professional people who are likely to need the services of MondoNet. If you're not very proficient with XHTML/CSS and design, then it may be worth investing in the help of a designer.

With that said, I still prefer the green design, the grey doesn't stand out.

Design

OK, now it's looking better with the grey bg on the menu. It's easier to read. But don't you still think the horizontal menu is competing with the vertical menu? That's a lot of pages/navigation for a hosting company. Usually the purpose is much simplier, attract new folks, and let existing customers login.

As was mentioned before, I think you need to learn to design with DIVs + CSS, without tables. It's very difficult to make design suggestions with the code all over the place. Try putting everything in a single CSS file, and avoiding inline styles. All the styles called .style10 {}, etc..., have to go.

Ok thanks, I'm going to remake the whole site and code it perfectly. Becuase luckily I have enough time to do that before my launch deadline.

traxor, thanks for the warning, I wasn't really aware of the DW serious thing, especially considering how much dreamweaver costs to buy.
Can you recommend any programs for me to use, or do you just simply use things like notepad.
Please remember I'm still learning all time as I go long.

thanks

There's absolutely no problem with using Dreamweaver as a basis for writing websites, but I'd use it as just that, use the coding section, rather than drawing up the website, and go to W3Schools to learn XHTML & CSS so that it's nice and valid.

I use Adobe Photoshop to design the site, then slice it up and code it.

I quite like the site, the only negative is that it looks a bit like you tried "too hard", Could need more simplicity but it is just my opinion. (Which is probably wrong, thats my thing, being wrong....ima go kill myself now =/)

Hi Dave

The new sub page looks far better. However, those bold - fonts could do with cooling down a shade so they match the face.

Your index page words at the base - need bringing across to the left.

Every little helps.

Good luck.

First one, but change the hover colour on the text, make it black.
