Well.. with alot of help I finished making my website about 1 month ago..

Since then I have been looking to start my 1st project...

but alot of people have been saying to get a portfolio together..

I have contacted business's asking them if they wanted me to make them a website for free.. but no replys..

So I created a homepage in photoshop and added it to my portfolio..

I just wanted to no what you think.. and am I going the right way about this?

Because I want to start making projects for people asap..

Thanks

Will

I like your site, Will. It looks a bit similar to my portfolio site - colours etc.

Would you maybe be able to implement an option to enlarge the screenshot image and to provide a link?

I wouldn't really say they're that similar.

I really like it will, I'm pretty sure you be crit on this before? Either way;

Home: The stock images ruin it for me. I hope they're turn into 'Recent Projects' when you've got enough under your belt.

About: Not enough of a layout change. Suddenly, without the high-colour image of the first page, the design seems a lot more dull.

Portfolio: Now I want to leave. The page isn't engaging me what so ever, I'm still just looking at 1 main item (which I don't like the look of) and 3 items that were on every page.

Contact: Ouch - scroll? Extend this area and make it fit your whole contact form, which needs some styling! I'm sure there's a tutorial on forum styling somewhere on WDF.

Main Point: Mix up the layout a bit on each page, and get rid of those 3 web logo & services boxes.

It's a good start though.

Its not his site he wants a crit on it is his 1st site he has placed on the portfolio...but as you can only see part of it and there is no way to enlarge it to see the whole of the site, its hard to comment on if it is a good site or not.

I dont mind them talking about my website overall..

Do you think I should just have the 3 boxes on the Homepage?

I will try and sort my contact form out so you dont have to scroll

Very nice design will! I think the color and the dark sandy effect is spot on. Very clean and crisp. Hey, if your are just starting out and are willing to do a few sites for free? Then PM me, as i have just started putting a portfolio together myself and have taken on some work that you might be able to help me out on.

Good portfolio though!

Are you asking us to give feedback on Lee's Photography? If so, could you please provide a link to the page or atleast a larger and more fuller image of the site.

Many Thanks,
Ren
