Tired of trying to find a system that fit my needs, I decided to build one for myself. What emerged was a CodeIgniter-powered application called Pipelines. The focus of the project was to provide a simple / quick way without much visual clutter to see what needs to be done now in up to 4 contexts of your life.

I just tried it out a bit. I like where it's going. I was a little confused what some of the things meant - queue, life, project/task. Also I didn't follow the navigation well.

General Idea:
Would I be able to install this on my own server to manage all projects/bugs/tasks etc? Or would the application be hosted on your end? I think for the reason of being in control, I should be able to download + install it like other CMS.
I've tried out one or two of the project management cms' before and didn't find them suitable for development specific work. So I'd love to use something simple that recognizes tasks from a project level
I think I understand the concept now - tasks come about in 4 main ways; Bugs, User Feedback, Development Areas, Project/General Requirements. Am I right?
Design:
As simple as you want to keep it, I think the application could really benefit from having a logo - if you want it to be recognized by others.
Usability:
If you are using a full screen layout, I'd love to see some kind of navigation anchored to a side of the window. I think a left side navigation will allow users to get most places in less than 2 clicks. It should also give the user an instant feel for the scope of the application. Right now it's hard to judge the depth of the app with just the login/register links.

Hey nickyoung! Great feedback - thanks!
As to your comments:
General Idea:
The idea is still fleshing out. Right now, it is definitely not ready to be a self-hosted application. However, in the future it may or may not - we'll see how it goes. My second choice is whether I should gear it towards development or just general task / project management. Right now, the example on the homepage shouts development but maybe it shouldn't.
Design:
Right on. It definitely needs a logo and more in terms of general design. Again, this was really an experiment for me and we'll see how it goes.
Usability:
All great advice. I'll be working out more where I want it to go.
Thanks again!
