www.CreativeNerds.org
"CreativeNerds is a UK based design & development firm, created by young minds, we provide clients with beautiful, creative and exclusive design packages along with technological development sources."
Now what do you think of our website?
* If you were a potential client, would you really go with us ?
* What does our portfolio show, do we look like "designers".
* What's missing?
* How easy is it to navigate through the site?
* How easy is it to contact us?
Thanks

It's in the top 5% of sites I have seen through this site. It looks good, and your list of clients and portfolio are pretty impressive (In my opinion, the most important aspect when attracting new clients).
One tiny tiny point.
What does this mean?
"along with technological development sources"
Sounds a bit like techno-babble....

I also agree, your site is very impressive and definetly very proffesional. You also have a good domain, keep on to that

Firstly, very impressed with your clients! How long have you been going for?
Easy to navigate, although I would have that arrow to the left of Home move to the left of your active link, otherwise it always look like you're on Home.
Very designer-y when it comes to the work, although the website could maybe do with a little background enhancements? That is, if you really want to push further "WE'RE DESIGNERS!".
What missing? I'd add "Grab a Quote" or something to your navigation, as you have too few pages, and it seems that Getting a Quote seems to be very important for you.
Your Contact page loses some beauty, for example the grey border should be pink/purple (that colour you've been using). The field labels should be darker grey (difficult to read) and there should be a greater height space between the field labels and the fields themselves.
Your CAPTCHA is quite lost? Need to keep that inside your border.
Finally, some styling for yor Submit button, which right now doesn't like look a designer's Submit button.
P.S If you have any vacancies, let me know! You seem an admirable team! www.russbishop.co.uk

I think there is too much 'talking' going on in the front page. My eyes wander everywhere with text but nothing means a whole lot to me.
1. remove extra_02.gif from the header area
2. remove the <div id="tag"></div> under the bigimageholder
The bigimageholder is there to stay - it sends a great message. It's proof that you are real.
The word nerd was used in several places, but I think it could be used better. For example, "Yummy, the nerds" just made no sense to me. What does the word nerd really mean? If I can associate it with design/dev better I will be much more willing to think these people have a solid point before buying in.
I feel like a person is trying to quote speech everywhere. I don't want to read speech alone, I want to see more proof that you exist. Let the elements/navigation do the prep-talk. I'd much rather see your portfolio on the front page than the about text. Then maybe take out the menu link to portfolio, and replace it with one that says Get Nerdified. The whole portfolio | services | contact menu is so overplayed. Show us a creative menu. Actions speak louder.

Wow Guys!
I really wasn't expecting such a detailed and through review, Love it !
Thank you so much for the feedback, this is something we've always wanted to have a very good review from some minds involved in the scene we work for,
Firstly, I agree, we do have a lot of text on the home page, We're still playing around (we only relaunched about 2 weeks ago), but yeah =)
Our clients, well just watch out, we've got much more famous peeps coming up,
And we officially opened in May 2008, but never put effort in till the relaunch a few weeks back,
For those who are interested (Russel), we do need some freelance designers, better yet some of our own, its just trust and communication which we have to sort out, along with contracts. I'll be in touch soon,
If you guys have new ideas for the home page layout or indeed the wording, feel free to post!
Thanks & Happy New Year

I'd say the biggest error is not knowing what page you are on, I can't tell which page I'm on or what category I'm in by the navigation.
I think modrewrite would make your urls look just a bit more polished, like /portfolio/ instead of /index.php?page=portfolio
And the title tag doesn't specify what page you're on in the myspace layouts area.
AWESOME SITE :|
Edit: Some of your images such as
don't have alt text.
