I hadn't seen anyone bring this up yet so thought i'd create a thread on it. For those of you that don't know, an Alpha of Opera version 10 is now available to download, showcasing the new 'Presto 2.2' rendering engine which so far seems very impressive. The new rendering engine is said to load pages 30% faster than in 9.5 and the browser gets a perfect score of 100/100 on the Acid 3 Test :o (Something which no other browser has so far achieved).

Since the last thread about Opera 9.5 was quite popular with many on here giving positive reviews, I'm interested to see how people will perceive the Alpha release of their newest update.

I've tried to like it so many times, but I just can't seem to at all, it seems far too chunky to me.

I think I worry about UI too much.

Chrome gets 100/100 (tried 5 times, it got 99/100 once). But it shows "linktest failed". What does linktest failed mean?

I could never get used to opera in the past, however i might give it another whirl :p

EDIT tried another 10 times, refreshing the cache each time and it got 100/100 for all, but still linktest failed, i wanna know what linktest is ):

Just realised if you click the A you get this
Failed 0 of 100 tests.
Test 26 passed, but took 77ms (less than 30fps)
Total elapsed time: 2.43s

&& LOL
