Hello people!

I have recently launched my new website design www.skytemedia.com and need a logo and overall brand image and slogan.

I would like to see whether any of you guys have any ideas?

Cheers! :)

Josh,

Im more interested to see how the business is going? imin the process of starting my own freelance web design business; im a Windows programmer on the .NET Framework though so not long started on the web side, picking it up though.

You're site looks great, very well laid out and presented; easy to navigate and well structured.

The branding and logo look good also; cant see any trademark(™) or registered trademark though if filed through the IPO. I see your trading under yourname perhaps as a sole trader but dont you still need to display either a Trademark or a registered trademark after you're company slogan? legally, a ™ can be used if your still awaiting approval for a registered one.

I have always been warey of freelance web design as work can "dry up"; curious to see how things are going work wise?

First off, nice website. like the red and blue contrast. Very nicely down. I would like to create my own brand too but am unsure of how to do this without so much expence! :)

Nice look. I agree that the red and blue work well together. My only critique is that I didn't initially see the little clouds at the bottom of the page. You may want to lock that image to the bottom of the viewport rather than the bottom of the page.

Your logotype is visually interesting and works well in your design. Why do you want to change? What would a different logo DO for you? How would it help?

To get an idea for a slogan, take a look at the tag-lines for whomever you consider to be competitors and do something completely different. I like your existing "Friendly web design". And it's probably different - usually the tag-line is "professional" or "expert" or some boring slog that touts their skills. People looking to hire you expect you to have skills: your friendliness might differentiate you from the guy down the street.

Very neatly done website. I like the color combination that easily attracts visitors eyes and attention. Suggest you to come up a catchy slogan below your logo/name. A little shorty slogan but definitely captures your core values and services that way the branding gets easily absorbed by it. All the best to you :)
