Hi,

I need to do something like this animation here:
http://www.thelondonnyc.com/

Are all the photo's just on different layers, with motion tweens and varying opacity?

It looks familiar, like I've seen this effect before, does anyone know of any tutorials that do something similar or can you let me know.

James

hi ,,,
the idea here: u need an image and make its opacity to 80% or less as u want (using photoshop )and then save it in the format .png and import it in flash ,,, and when u create ur motion the images will be some kind transparent and shows images which is in the bottom layer
:) good luck

my guess is that it's exactly as you suggest - all the separate images and lines are on different layers and are motioned tweened across the screen from left to right or vice versa. They start at different opacities and end at different opacities. Not very difficult to do and so I don't think you need a tutorial for it.

...unless you want all the iamges to be randomised and controlled by actionscript - then I'd be looking for a tutorial.
