How dare I say a quicky when copywriting takes a lifetime to master? :D

In short, I have a website which sells one main product. There's only one paragraph to introduce the product, which currently goes as follows:

Quote

Because we value quality over quantity, our snowskates are the most performant and durable on the market. Only the best materials are used to develop the boards that made our reputation. We sell our products online and ship worldwide.

I'm not sure about the validity of the word "performant" and the second sentence leaves me uncertain. I want it to be straight-forward and short. That's where it gets touchy! Any advice on the copy? How well would it sell?

Thanks a bunch! Oh wait, make it two bunches.
Cheers!

Performant I'm sure, isn't a word (yet)

Try something like....

Here at (insert name here) we value quality over quantity. Our snowskates are built not only for performance, but also durability and only the best materials are used to develop the boards. Our craftmanship and reputation will ensure you are getting the best board on the market.

All our products sold online and shipping is available worldwide.

I will have another little think, as I have only just got up and the brain fog hasn't really lifted yet. I'll look at my words later, and wonder what I was thinking.....

It's not an official word (i.e.: supported by the OED), however it is a techie word used to describe the performance of hardware. Personally I'd steer clear of it and use Helen's suggestion or a variation thereof.

Thanks for the replies! Following excellent advice from wizely, here's another take :

Quote

Built for performance and durability, our snowskates are handmade in Canada with high-quality materials. Riders at heart, we know what works and what doesn't. As a result, we create boards you can rely on, boards that will take you where you want to go – now that's ambition.

I like how it implicitly shows the company's values while focusing more on the product. What do you guys think? I don't want to go any longer than this though.

Thanks again!

I didn't write it! I only offered advice (and wanted to remain incognito) Quimp knew what he wanted, I only offered a couple of nudges - that's all his work! :D
