Hello Everyone,

I'm working on a site where I'm using a flash movie as the background for the page, which I'm accomplishing with layered divs.

It works great in most cases, except when I try to play a video on top of it on the homepage. Usually the non-flash content has no trouble being displayed over the top of the background movie in just about all browsers, but when I put the video on top, the non-flash content (only the text and images) on top of the flash background movie disappears in Firefox 2 on Mac. You can see it flicker when you scroll, however, so I think Firefox is trying to repaint or something.

I've tried a number of things to fix it, including absolute positioning and the lowest z-index on the flash background div, although it's not absolutely positioned right now.

Also tried a number of combinations for wmode (opaque & transparent) between the 2 movies, as well as both swfobject 1.5 and 2.0, including this nested object deal described here - swfObject Flash and the z-index

Finally, I've tried using overflow:hidden on just about everything.

This simply doesn't happen in IE6, IE7, FF 2 & 3 on Win, FF 3 on Mac. It only happens on FF2 on Mac.

I'm using a temp domain for the site right now, but it's located at http://www.cazhome.com

Does anyone know how often FF2 on Mac asks about updating to FF3? I've been trying to test that, but I'm not seeing any consistency. If it bugged me all the time, I'd be confident most people using FF on Mac will be at version 3 very soon, and I won't have to worry about this...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for such a long post, just like to provide details.
