Hi,
At the school that I go to, I run a lunchtime Flash session.
In June, I was teaching some people how to make simple games and good animations.
We've had a nine week break now though, so they'll have probably forgotten quite a bit of it.
I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas of some little, fun things we could do just to warm back up into it?
Thanks very much,
Matt. Ireland

Hello
You could do a version of the seaside/arcade horse racing game. The one where you bet on which horse is going to win - the horses/riders are plastic jobbies that move along the track + randomly change speed as the race goes along. You could get each of your members to design their own characters(with animation) to be included in the game. The game loop would randomly change the speed of the horses every so many frames + check if a character has passed the finish line. You could display finishing order at the end - maybe sound effects for the racing + special winning sound effect for each character when it wins.
